Peggy's Cove is a small, picturesque fishing village on the eastern shore of St. Margarets Bay, approximately 43 kilometres southwest of Halifax. It is one of Canada's most recognizable and photographed locations.

The Peggy's Point Lighthouse, built in 1915, sits atop ancient Precambrian granite boulders smoothed by glaciers — creating one of the most dramatic and distinctive lighthouse settings anywhere in the world. The area is also known for dramatic ocean vistas and stunning sunrises.

Beyond the lighthouse, the village itself features working fishing sheds, small galleries, and the famous Sou'Wester Restaurant. It is one of Nova Scotia's most visited tourist destinations, drawing visitors from around the world year-round.
