About the Role
You will be driving our vehicles. All work is pre-scheduled — you'll know when to arrive at our Bedford garage, collect a vehicle, and where to go. Every job is dispatched through our driver app.
Compensation
Base Rate
$17/hr base rate
Pay Structure
$17/hr base rate + mandatory gratuity per call
Minimum Per Job
1 hour minimum (even if drive is under 20 min)
Long Distance
Paid to drive there and return — all hours covered
Cash Gratuities
Offered by clients at their discretion — yours to keep
Effective Range
$25–$30+/hr approximate rate
Gratuity is calculated at 75% of the standard 20% service charge on each call. The amount varies depending on the vehicle and service type, so your rate will fluctuate from call to call.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional driving experience to every customer
- Arrive with a clean vehicle — maintain cleanliness between calls
- Drive passengers to pre-booked destinations in company luxury vehicles
- Navigate high-volume traffic and highways confidently
- Use our dispatch app on your smartphone for all job assignments
- Assist passengers with luggage and boarding
- Engage with clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Calculate drive time precisely — arrive on time, every time
- Monitor flight arrivals for airport pickups and adjust accordingly
- Refuel the vehicle when needed
- Wipe down the interior between clients — no dirt or scuff marks
- Return vehicle to the garage (or take home if another job follows shortly)
Requirements
- Nova Scotia Class 4 driver's license — mandatory
- Fluent English — must communicate confidently with clients
- Excellent, smooth driving skills with a calm demeanour in traffic
- Own transportation to and from our garage in Bedford, NS
- Flexible availability — day, evening, and overnight shifts
- Strong time management — you calculate the drive to the garage plus drive to client
- Responsible approach to driving company vehicles with care
- Clean criminal record — check required before starting
- Child abuse register check required before starting
This is not Uber or a taxi job. Our drivers represent a professional car service. You are required to arrive clean and presentable, dressed formally in a shirt and tie. Good hygiene is non-negotiable. Our clients expect — and receive — a professional experience every time.
